Day 1

Beijing - Arrival and meet your guide for transfer to your hotel.
Accommodation at hotel.

Day 2

Beijing - In the morning ascend the Coal Hill from where you will discover a nice bird's eye view over Beijing and stroll on the Tiananmen Square. (Located at the center of Beijing City, where you can visit Tiananmen Tower, Monument to the People's Heroes. It is the must place to visit in Beijing City.), Then visit the Forbidden City, the former residence of the Ming and Qing emperors. After lunch, visit the Temple of Heaven with its outstanding round shape, covered by an exquisite triple roof of blue tiles. This is where the Emperor used to pray for good harvests. Continue to enjoy a rickshaw tour among Hutong. Visit to Bell and Drum tower. Accommodation at hotel.

Dinner enjoy Beijing roast duck at Jinfangzhuang Quanjude Restaurant

Day 3

Beijing - Full day excursion to the Great Wall (section of Mutianyu Cable car can be arranged as optional on spot ) (Located in Huairou County in the suburbs of Beijing, the section of wall at Mutianyu Great Wall is 70 km from the center of Beijing. )And the Ming Tombs including a visit of Chang Ling Tomb (the chief of the Ming Tombs, is the largest in scale and is completely preserved.). Although not excavated itself, it displays the artifacts found in the Ding Ling Tomb. Later enjoy a walk along the Sacred Path leading to the necropolis and Giant Tortoises, along the path are bizarre, mythical stone monsters standing guard. Then drive back to enjoy the famous Kongfu show (Regular seats). Accommodation at Hotel

Day 4

Beijing - Shanghai - In the morning visit the Summer Palace, (The Summer Palace is a favorite among tourists sightseeing in Beijing. Indeed, it is one of the best parks in the city. Originally it was a retreat for emperors to escape the scorching summer heat of Beijing. ) Then take the high speed train to Shanghai G137(13:07-19:01)(6 hours). (Second class seats). Upon arrival, meet your guide and transfer to check in at your hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Accommodation at hotel.

Day 5

Shanghai - In the morning take a visit to Shanghai’s old town, still known for its bustling atmosphere and lively old lanes. Visit of Tea House, Mandarin Yu Garden (Yuyuan Garden, a place of peace and comfort in the heart of bustling Shanghai, dates back to the fabled Ming Dynasty. Now a popular tourist destination, Yuyuan began as a private garden created by Pan Yunduan, who spent almost 20 years - and all of his savings - to build a garden in order to please his parents in their old age. That is why he called this garden "Yuyuan" - because "yu" in Chinese means "peace and health".), Jade Buddha Temple (In the western part of Shanghai, a very modern and flourishing city, there is a venerable and famous Buddhist temple, Jade Buddha Temple. In 1882, an old temple was built to keep two jade Buddha statues which had been brought from Burma by a monk named Huigen.) Then go to visit the Longtangs in Jingan District. Longtangs in Shanghai are just like Hutongs in Beijing, the lanes lined with houses where people have more chances to communicate with each other. In the Longtangs, people meet together, are closely associated, thus bringing forth a strong sense of localism, safety and family-likeness.
Attend Shanghai acrobatics show at Portman Hotel (regular seats). Accommodation at hotel.

Day 6

Shanghai - Departure - In the morning, visit Shanghai Museum(Without earphone). As well-known as the Museum of Ancient Chinese Art, the Shanghai Museum was established in 1952 and relocated twice before finding a permanent home at its present location, south of the centrally located People's Plaza, in 1996. More than 120,000 precious and rare works of art in 21 categories make the Shanghai Museum the most remarkable cultural institution in the city.
Then transfer to airport for flight departure.
